If I were You I'd leave flats only on this daphne blue fretless Bongo, on 25th I recommend EB Coated Slinkys, fits perfect with ceramic pickups, trust me..., better than factory regular slinkys, especially with maple board! Mellower than regulars, but still powerful and bright, and last twice longer than regulars too!

I probably would have kept my 25th if it was an HH instead of the Hss I just couldn't the sound I'm used to from my SR5's.

This has probably been discussed elsewhere but . . . is the bridge H on the HH in the same position as a single H stingray? It looks farther away from the bridge than the H on the HSS model. Also, can you split the coils on the HH with the different buttons?

Yes it is. It's at the classic StingRay single H position.

Not really. One of the sounds (all PU buttons OFF) is a SS (inner coils from the HH) but apart from that the buttons do active/passive, series/parallel, and on/off of the PUs.
For real coil tapping, you'd need the Game Changer. Which is really something I'm looking forward to somewhere in the future...
