Realized that I've never really gotten any good pics of this guitar that show the true color. Well I figured I would try today.

sorry if this has been brought up before. how would you describe the colour? looks kinda grey to me but im sure i read somewhere that it has a bluey look.

im trying to decide between the x, xi and 12, but its turning out to be an extremely difficult decision. love the colour on the x but the 5 way is putting me off. then with the xi and xii, im not sure on the colours. the xi colour is growing on me though

i need to try them all out but the nearest place to me that has them is 2 hours drive :/

I can't speak for the one in the picture (which does look grey on my monitor), but the one I played at GC definitely had a dark blue-ish color to it. I thought it was seriously cool.

The color is real life depends a ton on the lighting. It looks anywhere from black to dark sparkly grey to dark sparkly blue. It's really awesome in person. Honestly with all three the JPX, JPXI and JP12 you really have to see them in person to really get a feel for how awesome the finishes are.

Well to make matters worse for you I have the Cherry Sugar and a PRB and side by side they look nothing alike. THE PRB is a lot darker and less sparkly. :)
