*makes the face that one would normally make when hearing nails scraping down a chalk board, with Geddy Lee and Geoff Tate
screaming hysterically*

Do I want to know what you were doing when you "chiped thfinger nial"? Grow up and be a man - ya got 9 other fingers, don't ya?;)

Just kiddin' Jubs - I'm in a really weird mood!

I heard silica packs are the cure for hair loss, broken finger nails, bad marriages, male erectile issues (which again goes back to bad marriages), world peace and a bunch of other stuff too!

well
i was trying to do some body work on my truck

so i was grinding on the rust, my mom just went in to get me some safty gloves

well the second she steps out side the sandpaper wheeel rips off the grinder and hits my hand liek three times before i could turn it off

and erlyer this week i was mowing this old ladys lawn for like 4 hours

then she asked me to paint her porch with polyurithane paint, i didnt know that it was polyurithane by the way

so the paint gets all over on my hands and blisters i got from mowing. it burned like hell

so after this i go inside her house my hands driping in paint she says to me, ooooh i bet sme spic and span will get that out, so im scrubing my hands with the harshest cleaning liquid ever made, then she says ohh wait let me get the brillo pad to really get it in there

so not only did i have polyurythane in my wounds i had spic and span and brillo pad

my hands have had a bad week

luckly it was my left hand that got hurt:cool:

rubber tipped aluminum thumble.

go to an arts & crafts store (im sure you are familiar with those...)

buy a thimble that fits over the offending finger. this should give you a good solid connection that won't slip or risk damage to the fretboard, and it will protect your finger.

oh yes, make sure and bandage that sucker too..

If you were left handed like me, you wouldn't think you were so lucky. It sound like manual labor might no be your calling in life. :D I especially couldn't have survived the loss of use of my left hand at your age!
