Man this thing sounds killer and plays ridiculously...it's got a little wear on the finish, but it's a dope guitfiddle and will definitely become a starter on my team...

Here's the before...

Here's the after:

What was done:New neck and comp nut, saddles (block style), black ice guard, and I put the Virtual Hot PAF and Virtual PAF and black knobs and switch tip on before I sent it out...

That being said, I have a used white ice guard for sale...

Looking good, OC! I like that black ice. Very nice. Stop rhyming and I mean it. Anybody want a peanut?

OC, that's one amazing looking Silo. That black ice pg sets it off perfectly.

Thanks Gents! It's awesome.

As an aside...and this is totally Fedex: The case is done for... Fedex must have throw the box around (the bottom of it was half open) something fierce....the top horn was pushed into the inside of the case foam (thru the furry lining) and theres some pressure dingage on the very top by the tummy cut. No big deal because there already was some light checking on the back...and this is a player piece, but I can't think of one shipper that actually takes time to do the right thing...had to cut my losses on arguing it with them because the guit plays well...and if it gets played it's gonna get relic'd so whatever. They ain't furniture...

I can quote you that whole movie from beginning to end.

the "who are you?"

"No one of consequence."

"I must know."

"Get used to disappointment."

"Okay."

edit-Oh yeah, nice guitar! Duh!

Sorry to hear about the shipping damage, OC. I swear, they just seem to get worse.

Curious how that Virtual Hot PAF works for you, and whether it's in the bridge or neck? I'm guessing the bridge.

Candid...Bridge...I have a great story about their origin too....but I'm not all about spilling it...Alls I can say is they came from someone's workbench after they were rejected because somebody dug something else more...hahaha.

Thanks Pete, that's interesting.....sending it back is no problem. I would really love for my Honeyburst ASS to get a rosewood fretboard, i wonder if EB would let me buy a new maple neck w/rosewood board if i send the old one back? Better email customer service i think!
