Saw this on Ebay and didn't think to much of it. Saw this on Gbase and laughed when they wanted $899 for an OLP neck with EVH stripes. Usually I wouldn't care but its being advertised as an authentic EBMM neck... it only takes 1 look to see its clearly not the real thing. Don't know if this is something EBMM wants to look into or not... but none the less I thought I would post it.

That actually made me feel sick! I looked at the neck itself and knew right away it was BS...but then I saw the price and the convinced description is just preposterous! This guy is an actual dealer of "unique and interesting" instruments?!?!?! hahahaha

Nice eye Mat as there is no doubt it is a fake, and Rob I guess we think alike as I went through his inventory and he has a lot of high end gear. It happens to the best but I think this guy may not know his EBMM EVH's that well and bought the neck and got taken. I doubt he would want to ruin is name and credibility for $899, Dog you want to contact him if not I will.

Now he edited it to say EBMM "style" neck and lowered the price to a still ridiculous $449.

Would that be Ed Roman? :)

Why yes it is... haha... I recently had the pleasure of visiting his "custom shop" (aka a dirty little garage) with a friend who wanted a 2nd opinion on a guitar. Same charming guy I met years ago... selling the same junk. My friend ended up at GC buying a different guitar...

dabbling in the world of Olp guitars for a little while now, i see a bunch of guys that are putting EBMM (and EVH sig) decals on the headstocks and making them fairly convincing looking at a first glance.....or in pictures. unfortunate to see people actually trying to sell them as "official" EBMM product.
