Now it feels as though it's mine. Don't care what the resale value is
It ain't being sold. :)

Removing the plastic is the first thing I do for anything I buy; guitar, screen, whatever. Hate that dim look that plastic always give to what it's covering/protecting. Your guitar is 10 times more beautiful without it....

.. and as has been discussed in another thread - guitars are meant to be played, not just looked at and admired!

Yeah dude... dump it!

Just found the first bit of mojo on my JP15.... guitars are to be played, not admired! :)

Make some music! :)

so nice, this one
I mean never say never, but I doubt removing the plastic will downsize the resale value - or letting it there will increase it.

Ok, looks so much nicer now, and relieved I plucked up the courage.

Although, removing the stickers at the rear is proving more difficult. LOL.

My 2008 jp6 still has it's sticker, the previous owner was as bad me.

Yikes, get those stickers off dude!

Why would you want an ugly white bar code stuck onto that beautiful piece of wood? Looks like it still belongs in a shop. No, guitars should be stripped clean as much as possible, nice and shiny! Just IMHO, maybe it's just me.... I'm also not a big fan of tattoos on women, which in a sense is similar to this I guess :) You do what you like of course! :)

I've only recently bought the jp6 also. The previous owner has had that sticker on for 8 years 😃

I'll get them removed (stage 2)
