I'm considering painting my Bongo's pickup covers white (if that's any indication what color pickguard I ended up choosing). Has anyone ever painted the pickup covers? Can they be taken off the pickups or will I have to mask? Should I use my airbrush with enamels or Krylon Fuzion?
I airbrush plastic models all the time, and am confident in my airbrushing and/or spray painting skills. I was just curious as to whether anyone has tried this before and could give me some advice. I know I'll have to prime and clear (dull) coat it several times.
P.S. If by chance I can order them in white, please tell me now! haha
