Another awesome PDN run is available, so I guess it's time for the obligatory 'what did you order' topic. Always nice to know what models will be ordered, also to offer some inspiration for the knuckleheads that are stil on the fence.

I'll start myself: Albert Lee sss hardtail with a black pickguard.
As I was already looking for an AL sss, and this run offers the roasted neck (including fretboard) I just got pulled in..

Luke III H-H with a fully roasted neck and fretboard for me... This run is a very special one, indeed!

I was so tempted to get a BFR Albert Lee. It was a difficult decision.

Thanks for making the process so easy and affordable, Pete!

Reflex, hardtail, maple board. The color along with the roasted maple neck and stainless frets made this run too much to pass on.

I'd love to know who, if any, is getting a BFR Albert Lee. That'd be a sight to behold! If I didn't already have a few others on order that'd be my next logical choice.

Ohhhh the humanity.

Even if I have to sell a kidney, the chance to own a Luke with a maple board is too tempting. However I'm pretty new to Music Man PDN guitars (long time drooler, first time buyer) so I've a couple of queries.
(1) As it's a roasted maple neck, will the board be roasted as well? Will it be a one-piece neck?
(2) Is it possible to have a matching headstock?

Thanks and best wishes.

(1) The roasted maple fingerboard is available on most models. Music Man uses one piece maple necks but saws the fingerboard off to install the truss rod and then glues it back on so everything is uniform.
(2) Not on this PDN run.

So far, I've ordered a JP6 BFR w/quilt top and all roasted neck/board. Pretty stoked. I'm really kicking around a second one too. We'll see. This package is SOOOO good.

That's gonna look spectacular! So cool that maple fretboards are offered on the JP's, Lukes and AL HH.

I hope you mean truss rod :)

Thanks for the information Benji. Another query if you don't mind. I've looked at numerous images of roasted maple necks and boards (trying to imagine how my guitar may look). Is it still an oil finish as they all look very glossy.
