Looking at used pdn silhouette special.
Never played one, but I love ss frets, and love neck profile of silo.
SS frets + oil/wax silo neck + mahogany body sounds like a score to me.

but.....I'm not one to throw $$ around, and would probably have to sell my VOS R7 to fund the purchase.
Before I attempt to play the guitar, wanted some feedback and opinions of other PDN owners with re: to tone & tone differences (non-pdn vs pdn mahogany), etc.

Thanks,
Jon

added info: I like (to attempt) to play rock, hard rock, blues. I have played a regular silo & loved it overall.

I have yet to play the PDN Silo Special but I am a big Silo Special fan and I think the honeyburst PDNs are some of the most gorgeous guitars EBMM have ever made. So, I'm already drooling at the thought of your possible NGD post!! :D

Just finished playing my PDN Y2D, and my neighbours are pissed, I'm soaking and tubes are burning...It is a killing machine! You can't go wrong!
