Does anyone know why this color was discontinued. Also, is there any chance it could possibly come back. This would be my first choice for a new JP, but it's looking like it will have to be sapphire black instead.

Best guess -the color was discontinued due to lackluster sales. Typically when a color is retired, it doesn't come out of retirement. We lucked out when Blue Dawn returned as an LE instrument.

+1

But they've got some new stuff up their sleeves. I cannot wait to see the new offerings.

Is that Bongo in the new blue that you speak of?:):) If so, do you have any information on a release date, because my new JP may just have to wait for that color. That is absolutely beautiful.

Let's not forget the silver!

Incidentally, my wife wants me to own a purple bass, which would obligate me to purchase one should a purple EBMM become available.

Purple would be a cool colour to have a JP in, but man I'd love a Emerald Green JP. That would be the tops. ;)

If I ever get endorsed by EBMM, the Karl Hungus signiature model will come in a very nice Pearl Emerald Greenburst.
