Pearl Schaller M6 Buttons - Swap For Chrome Anyone?

Hi all,

Got an ASS+P a while ago and have never really liked the pearly tuning key buttons - for me they just don't sit right as there's no other similar material (pick guard) to balance out with so I thought about buying new buttons.

Then I thought one (or more) of the forum members may have a hankering for some pearl ones, rather than me go out and buy some and leave the originals in a box gathering dust, it would be a good idea to offer them up to anyone with chrome buttons that wanted pearl ones as a straight swap...

If anyone's got an Al or Silo etc with a pearly pick guard and is interested in a bit of complimentive accessorizing, let me know!

If not, can someone tell me where I can get some more chrome buttons as I can't find anywhere that sells them...

I tried Stewmac, but they only sell ebony & pearloid. Have you tried contacting Schaller?

I've got a chrome set on my AL that I'd be happy to swap for your pearlies !
Thing is my AL is a trem model so I've got the locking Schallers. will we be able to swap the buttons successfully ?

Having said that, I'm about to order a brown or 'red' tortoiseshell plate for it.

Would that look any good with pearl buttons ?

That's even better then - mine are locking ones too! Should be a like for like fitting therefore a straight swap! )

I'll stick one of the pearl buttons from my Axis on the AL and see how it looks. If It's a go-er I'll let you know
