I got a PM a few weeks ago from a very, very awesome forumite, I was surprised, but glad to hear from him that's for sure. It was Spud!!

Just this past Christmas he did me a solid and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to repay him for it. My wife is a HUGE, I am stalking HUGE fan of the Scottish band Franz Ferdinand. Last summer, we went to England to follow them around for 5 days, for her it was the trip of a life time. She's/we've met with them tons of times and see them whenever they are around. Great awesome live band, loads of energy, great group of guys and, if your into it, their music is really good as well. But I digress, Franz put out a special box set, but it was only available to our friends in the UK. I posted a thread looking for help, along came Spud and my wife's Christmas was made 10 fold.

Ok, so back to my PM, Spud's asking me what size shirt I wear, I ping him back and he says watch the mail, um ok??

Well this arrived yesterday afternoon.

I was pleased and completely shocked!!! My daughter was like, (She's 7) "Dad what did spud send you??". I opened the package and she was like "COOL!!", and went running to tell her sister (She's 10) what I got from England.

Kim sent me a text telling me that I got some mail from the "Queen"... I thought she meant my ex-wife!

amen to that one of the main reasons i actually bought a EBMM, i was a member on this forum before i owned one and its always been such a friendly place and everyone is amazingly helpful. and since then i havent looked back, oh the quality instruments also helps
