Congrats, I won't lie to you man, that is one stunning guitar, and is the object of my extreme jealousy.

Affliction? You happen to be a MMA fan? :D
I'm a huge fan with a ton of Affliction t-shirts.
can't wait to see Frank Mir with his belt again!

I had to play it twice. the first time i got distracted by that KOA and the Silver Burst at the back. had to look away just to absorb the music.. Nice playing Rich!

Wow wow!

That guitar is stunning - do You notice a big change in sound as opposed to the standard BFR JP (I believe the silverburst is essentially a normal BFR JP, right?).

And Your playing is tasty!

I am wondering the same. Great playing and song too. I hope JP uses his Koa and Silverburst BFRs on their summer tour. I also hope he uses the Dargie, Stealth, ...yeah.

Thanks..

as far as a tone difference between the reg BFR's and the Silverburst,YES for sure there is a big difference.when i got the SB last year,i A/B it against my reg Blackburst BFR and i couldn't believe the difference.(petruccirock02) was actually @ my house and he couldn't believe it either.same amp, same settings and same setup on the 2 guitars(the BB might have been a little lower action).
The SB has a Alder body, mahogony tone block, mahogny neck and ebony fretboard.
to my ears(and i have a great set)it sounded a bit darker.
so when i got my Koa i A/B it against the SB and the koa sounds a bit darker...(same amp/settings etc...)
either way,i'm crazy about these BFR's!!!(i have a sickness and i realize i'm not in denial:rolleyes:hahahaha
