Yeah, JP is good dude. At the Raleigh clinic he sign TONS of stuff for everyone. He was totally spent. A 3 1/2 hour class followed by a 3+ hour evening session of playing 3 tunes from the solo album and answering about 1000 questions and then signing and photos. We almost had to put him on IV.

When I walked up to him with my sign-ola material, I told him I was from NY and could he stop giving me the finger on the L.I.E. (Long Island Expressway for you non-New Yorkers). He looks at me startled (Keep in mind its about 11pm now) and says: "Oh no! Did I really do that?". I said "No man, just f'in with you." Then he says: "Aw dude, not cool, not cool".

Just a real person with stupid talent. I almost went home and burned all my gear.

Recent comments have me wondering...

Is this going to replace, or augment the current JPM models? At first it seemed clear it was the latter, but now I'm sceered. lol

I'm sure it will be an addition to the range, as the current JP is currently selling well.

Why are you scared though? Surely as long as you're happy with your JP (I'm assuming you have one) then that's all that matters. If you like the new model, if it sees the light of day as a production model, then you'll just have to buy one of those too!

:D

That's what I'm scared of. LOL. Especially if the current line stopped being made... I'd have to turn into Ernie and buy a zillion of them right away. LOL ;)

Yes, I'm quite happy with mine. So happy in fact, I'm planning my next purchase now. With college firing up, and a few other music related things in the pipeline, I might need a few of them over the next two or so years. I especially want to put the Steve's Special and Air Norton in one.... I like those better for some things.
