maybe the toggle-switch

hi

you might have to clean the toggle-switch with a cleaning-spray.
maybe it's a little dirty, so that the electric connection is not 100%. sorry for my bad english!!!

same problem

I have the same problem with my piezo equipped petrucci but in the bridge position it loses output sounds almost like a coil tap?- plugging the lead back out and back in sometimes solves the problem problem happens on both passive and piezo outputs

Hey bud. Here's how you fix that. Uh, put the guitar down and get one of the other 40 Petrucci's you have. Done!

Just kidding, hoss! I'm home sick for 2 weeks now with Pneumonia and I'm going stir crazy.

Take care.

Thanks for the advice ernie1966 - I did contact customer service first and they told me it was (understandbly) hard to pin point problem from an email description. I live in Ireland and bought the guitar in the US so sending it back to shop isnt feasible which is what customer service recommended, hence reason for posting. I had a feeling it might be the switch so Ill order one, problem hasn't surfaced too much since I sprayed switch with contact cleaner. Sorry for reviving your 3 year old post!
