Petrucci with one pickup?

I was going through the review of the DT's gig in Zaragoza (Spain) last weekend when I saw this picture:

Apart from John's face, the one pickup guitar got my attention. Does someone know more about this one? I tried to search for older topics but found nothing.

It's not a Pet.
It's a Silhouette Bass.
John sometimes uses it.
There's actually a second pickup hidden under his hand.

Weird, I thought he just strung one of his 1000 JP's in a bass guitar tuning instead, or is that not possible?

Definitely Panic Attack, not sure about others.
I don't think it's possibly to put strings that big on a regular JP and get any kind of playable result. The Silo Bass has a much longer scale.

Everything else would be differently tuned 6 stringers and a 7 for Dark Eternal Night
