AND THE SHOW WAS A ROCKIN!!!

the production and visuals were fantastic, and the band.....well they were tight as hell, bet you could guess that.

I loved the fact JP used so many BFR's.....and his Lonestar/MKIV tones were out of this world.

Has anyone elese noticed that he does not turn the graphic off and that his MIDS are scooped to the floor????

and JM's Bongo's were fantastic too.

ohh Symphony X were as **** as i expected and Romeo was using LINE 6 Vetta's :eek: no wonder hs guitar sounded weak and thin,Mr JP was sure to blow them to pieces by just turning on his Boogies and Bfr's :D

well yeah that was a fantastic show and I only counted a few mistakes :)

Lets not talk about how much you don't like other bands please...they are great musicians and deserve some respect even if you don't like them.

Glad it was a good show!

Did he happen to do a token Glasgow Kiss for the venue ?

Sorry Diz but he didnt :eek:

he did have ALOT of solo spots throughout the show, one very second song If I can remember right.

WAS AWESOME

Mr Portnoy didnt have a dedicated solo spot though but then again he gets one every song huh :D

The doubling of Rudess and JP was crazy,Keytars rule!
James was on top form too and Myung was stealthily amazing.........Bongo 6 :)

i did think he put a few runs in from glasgow kiss but it was merely my imagination :(

Great show!!

One of the main reasons I don't listen to Symphony X is Romeo's guitar tone. Even on the albums it's way too fizzy, trebly and all-around weak. It frustrates me so much.

BTW, JP doesn't actually use all the 6 4x12s...There are some (2-4, I think?) that are being used, the rest are all for show. \m/

DT were fjookin' astounding. that's about the 10th time i've seen them and they just get better and better. the venue was a good surprise too. having been there before, it just seemed lifeless. however, with Japes Molapes et al playing, they blew the roof off.

DT = 100% gristle from the nighttimeness of doom to the morning afternees of ultimate rawkism!!! cap'n!

I was there too, got quite close to the front near JP so I could hear his guitar sound from the amps rather than the PA, and it was a fantastic sound he had :)

First time seeing them live, great gig.

Great to see JM with his Bongos, those 6 strings look like a handful! :D

They should have an EB owner's section right at the front of the stage so that we can identify each other ;)

73h- Cheers for that info!
It sounded awesome anyhoo and it did look impressive to me,being a Mesa Boogie geek and all :D
azazael- Sadly he did not release Killer bees from his foot rests,as far As Im aware there were no deaths but there were alot of paramedics Just incase. And Im also sad to report Maddy AKA Yngwie was not present to hand Jp his guitars, was a younger guy!
Starsky- I was very close there too,I was with Mr B but I took a little wonder nearer JP to hear his lovely Boogie tone and just see the Ball family Emblem on the 12th fret....sweet and yeah I agree all EB and Boogie owners should get FREE DT access PLUS a special Row with barriers to protect us,being the elite and all ;) and perhaps some strippers while Symphony X are on...becuase even if you like them the fact his guitar tone was RUBBISH everyone should have turned off and went to strip bars Do I hear a 'HELL YEAH' 'COME!!!!'
