Good move on the sale... If it's me, I'm thinking an LE HH Sterling is next! :D

Ya i only held on to that bass as long as I did b/c i liked the finish. LoL

i still havent decided on if ill wait or not. There's a bunch of finishes i like so i could easily pick one of those but having one more option isnt a bad thing especially if it blows me away.

historically LE's have matching or black headstocks ... so that's somewhat of a deturant to me cuz (even though i have a BC LE) i generally like naked headstocks.

we'll see

Phatty I'm with you on naked headstocks, but as I look at my ButterCream SR4 with matching headstock I have to smile! She is the prettiest bass on the wall, I can't wait to hang the matching Bongo next to her. God what a cool addiction! :D

the BC is nice. i never thought id make an exception to the "i dont like matching headstocks rule" but i did with the BC. more eye catching colors like red or bursts still scare me though.

its a toss up ... is my blue dawn prettier than my buttercream? i dunno

I don't know Phatty, ButterCream is just so damn good look'n. Still most of my basses are three tone sunburst, and a couple of naturals and one black. I totally agree reds or even burst headstocks don't do it for me. When I get Jack to order me a Sterling, as of now I'm leaning towards that 400.00 piece of high grade natural BP is using for a paper weight. I'm having wayyyy too much fun with these EBMM's! :D

I also don't like matching headstocks
but have to admit that my buttercream
SR4 looks great . . very subtle . . nice

I know it's hard phatty but try to wait
for the LE - if you can't , I understand.

I generally don't care too much for matching headstocks, but I'd take a buttercream bass with matching headstock in a heartbeat!
