Why do you guys always do these things when I'm working on the weekend? I get home at 7pm which means that the earliest that I'd get there is 8pm. I wake up for work at 4am which means that if you guys want a safe nuclear plant then I should probably not go.

I mean, really.....I want to go. Can we be a little more flexible on what weekend we do the next one on?

Well, it's not quite anything that is super secret or anything like that.

I'm a Reactor Operator at our local nuclear power plant - it's nothing to keep secret. Although there can be grave consequences in the event of an accident Steevo (and the rest of the public) is safe from melting where he's at. So, I figure that it's best to not go into work for a 12 hour shift on 3 hours of sleep and a wicked hangover.

I do intend on making one of these get togethers.
