Does anybody have the Photo Shop chops to do up a Sterling 5 in the new Sterling Silver with matching headstock, rosewood board and black pickguard? I don't have Photo Shop + I've never used it. If no luck here, I'll do up a picture with those paint pens!

No luck here - I'm going to have to get Photo Shop. Or, better yet, I'm probably going to go ahead and order a Sterling 5 HH, sterling silver, matching headstock, rosewood board. I already know it will look hot - I'm thinking back to the old Sabre in Inca Silver! I always wanted one of those, but the Sterling will be even better, of course. These new colors that were just released have given me a reason to get another Sterling 5! I already have a fretless HH on order, but I need one of each pup config in fretted. Just a little GAS. I'll be selling a couple other of my non-EB/MM fivers, as I don't play them anymore!

Sorry this was done really quick but looks like it will be a great color for your Sterling 5.

Josh / mmbassplayer:

Nice job! It does look good! I tried messing with that image in paintbrush with no luck. I hate to mention the F word, but a certain new standard J bass in blizzard pearl with WHITE pickguard looks pretty cool - I only mention this for color comparison. There's a decent pic on Musicians "Fiend" that I was checking out. I think I'm going to go with a white pickguard on sterling silver, matching headstock, RW board, HH. I may even order this tomorrow. I've been debating about which color to get since the new ones were announced. Then, I was tossing around pickguard color ideas. That Bongo does look good in silver too.
