Hello all,
As a proud new owner of an Ernie Ball Musicman Sterling bass, I'm putting together an album of owners with their Sterlings.
May I ask you to send me a photo of you with your Sterling by email please, if possible, onstage. When I have 10 or so, I will open a Sterling page at my website.
Many thanks,
Francis (Ireland); email: [email protected]

Hey, Cool!

I'll buy a Sterling for sure now!

I'm not being a wiseass; I’m really going for a lefty Sterling with the H/S pickup configuration, as soon as the Special Edition colors are announced, if there are custom colors this year… (I don’t know such things work.)

But the more I think about it, I might just spring for that piece of super, high grade, one of a kind, exceptional grain pattern, non sphalted, virgin, Cuban seed, ultrahighresultionLCDqualitygrainpattern Morningwood, book matched, flamed, curly, distressed, worm holed, swamp ash from an African rain forest, harvested by local tribesmen in trade for cell phones and two cases of RC Cola. That piece of wood!!!

BP keeps it in the trunk of his 64 convertible, and it’s worth the $400.00 bucks… :D

Thanks for photos

Yea, being a smart*ss was always a very important criterion for joining a band so...when can you audition?

The photos are really just for me, not for any "glory" of being featured on a website. Got one this morning so thanks to sender. :)

Doesn't look like a Bongo there...but it's really hard to see that thing.

Hey - nice work, getting all the Sterling players together.

I'm admiring your handiwork.

Jack, you're right. That's what I get for posting after coming home after a rehearsal where some guy none of us knew showed up w/a set of Roland electric drums and wanted to play with us. Long story. Fortunately, our drummer kicked his ass. Musically, that is.

Nice idea, btw, regarding a Sterling photo site. I've put my Sterling away since getting a HH Bongo, but the HH Sterling looms in the immediate future.

Unless my eyes deceive me, your picture of Father Gino shows him playing a Bongo, not a Sterling.

That's a Sterling, honest. It's a crummy picture to be sure. It makes me realize how few pictures I have of myself playing.

Pretty cool that I have first billing on the page just ahead of Dave LaRue. Makes it seem like I must be important or something :)

If you're also wanting pictures of professional musicians playing Sterlings, Stuart Coleman from "The Music" plays one.

Sterling Bongo?!!

Well, at least it was a reply! :)

The page is looking pretty good after just three days, most of those featured actually made contact with me and contributed photos.

Dear Father....yours was my very first contribution and Dave La Rue came a close second!

Thanks for all your help guys, much appreciated! :)

Good page but I would move the ladies to the top. :)

Aren't those Sterlings awesome in female hands?
