Here is a pic of my new Teal Pearl JP, I ordered it through a local dealer in February, and picked it up about a month ago.

Nice looking axe! I love the look of the Petrucci - a very classy looking guitar. I had one of the Ibanez Petrucci sig's for a while (a P4, Camo) and I loved the playability and the tone, but couldn't get past the cosmetics. If I ever get to try a Petrucci and it has the same neck, I'll probably buy it on the spot!

I like the Ibanez Petrucci model too, I tried one at a store back when they were still in production and the playability was very smooth. In the short time that I've had my EBMM JP, the one thing I can say about the neck is that it has spoiled me as far as playing other guitars.

The color is actually a bit darker than it is in the photo, with just a little more of a blue tint also. I took the photo with a cheap 35mm camera, which made it difficult to capture the actual color and depth of the paint job.
