Pic Request - Silo/Silo Spec

GAS has gotten the best of me. I need to see some pics of Silos and Silo Specs in CBP and Blue Pearl. Different pickguard combos if possible.

I'm set on the maple neck and non-matching headstock. I just need to decide on a color and PG.

I'm also not sure of the 22 versus 24 fret neck. I've never owned or used a 24 fret neck.

I think if you've always had 22 fret necks, then a 24 would make sense for variety. The tonal possibilities are different too...

White Pearloid and Abalone are tops on my list, but I'd love to see others . . .

The overall feel between my guitars is almost identical. I do feel the extra frets make things a bit easier, especially from 12 up.

From this pic, I say it's blue pearl. Pearl blue is darker.

personally I like white pearloid for the Silo with maple board. Abalone is great too. But just a little too pretty for me.

the pickguards take on a whole new look depending on the pickup colours. Bruce's Silo Special looks amaing with dark pickguard and white pups/knobs.

I've never been crazy for abalone, but have to admit it melds right into the CBP like it was made for it. They look great together. It's kinda growin' on me with the Blue Pearl too.

I think it's going to be between these two. I'm really liking the look of both of them. I'm also considering buying an extra pickguard loaded with different pickups (SSS).

Either CBP with white pearloid, or Blue Pearl with abalone. Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions. Just have to return or sell my ASS, and I can start mulling it over.

Here is mine with white pearloid, slightly different look than the others with the black on white. I really like it, but I am thinking of putting black ice on her.
