Candy Red Silo Special w/ white pearloid pickguard, trem, piezo, maple fretboard and non-matching headstock.

Just ordered it today with Pete DuBaldo, and I need some pictures to hold me over :D ;)

You ordered a piezo! Wow! Good for you! I'm helpless on a Silo/Silo Spec with piezo because of the lack of a switch.

Anyways, I hope this pic wasn't the cause of this order:

Your pictures were definitely motivating!

I'm hoping that either EB or someone on the forum can help me figure out how to wire a switch similar to the LUKE to activate/deactivate the piezo.

Dead easy to use the piezp on a silo special, I found it very cool. Give it a good try, especially in a gig situation.

I tried a piezo Silo once... In a jamming studio... Couldn't hack the blending... After 2 sessions, I gaveup up, sold it, and returned to my JP6 and 20th...:p

If that's the case, I'm going to have to look into figuring out a switching scheme.

Larry, I will cook something up for you. The toggle setup on the JP and Luke is fairly simple, and there are push/pull and push/push pots, too.

Awesome Pete!

I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron  As long as I have a decent diagram or schematics.

I'm leaning towards the LUKE/JP setup.

Damn! Wish I had such after sales service from my dealer! A toggle switch for the piezo option would be so much appreciated on a Silo... It'll be PERFECT after this!

I still don't understand why it's not in standard with all Piezo model.

Also I would like to understand why the Piezo feature is different on the Axis SS than the one on the Luke, Albert and Silo (a little black box with 2 outputs)

Already ask the question on the forum but got no answer

Pete,

Would you be able to post a schematic for this? It's like to be able to mod a Silo Special with Piezo IF and WHEN I get one. Heh.:D
