Yes guys, I'm finally in guitar heaven: Went to Guitar Center to pick up my Redburst Petrucci which had been there for a week and half (I was on a trip....long trip I might add..though I did have a guitar with me)....My JP is set up perfectly...and the funny thing is, the .10's on this guitar feel like .9's...and I think its b/c of this amazing neck...I normally play .10's as well as .9's depending on the tunings im using so I didnt have to make any adjustments or get used to a heavy gauge....I will have pics up for you guys as soon as I can...between the trip I went on, this SPECTACULAR guitar I just finished paying for today and the "nice" $243 cell phone bill I just got in the mail yesterday....so, I can't buy the digital camera I was looking to purchase  , but I will get em up here when I can....I just want to thank the Ernie Ball crew for doing a fantastic job on my guitar, you guys rock....I was supposed to go out with my friends tonight and party, but I got the Petrucci, so I took the night off, lol (Its ok...I had a rather crazy night last night at a block party!) ....actually I just havent been able to put this damn thing down...been playing for about 3 hours straight now...but i did get some cool things finished on a song i've been working on, so it was a win/win situation today. :)

Also would be interested in getting a D.O.B. on the guitar if possible (G28583)

Thanks again guys.

Jeff

Congrats, ProgGuitarist! Pearl Redburst and Desert Gold are two contenders for my next acquisition. The woman really loves the Desert Gold, as do I. But lately I have been really digging the Pearl Redburst. I hear the Pearl Redburst looks even more beautiful in person then any pic can capture. Anyway, can't wait to see pics! :)

Yeah, the Redburst color always comes out a bit darker in pics, you don't get the real sense of its beauty until you actually see one up close....its almost like a burgundy wine type color in certain light...it's an awesome guitar all around...and I already know I'll be buying another one down the road...have no idea what color though...lol But it will be a long while before that happens...I'm teaching guitar, plus band rehearsel, and working 2 other jobs to pay my way through medical training...so I don't know when another Petrucci is in the cards lol...not now though. Peace

P.S. I wonder if there are any other shred guitar players in the medical field as a "side job" (I use the term sidejob LOOSLEY lol)!? :D If not, I'll gladly be the first to lead the brigade....

I might be considered a shredder but I am a rocket scientist
