Question Pickguard Poll With a Difference (Slight) (Bongo Content)

Can you guys give me some help please - which pickguard suits the fiery orange (lava pearl) Bongo best? There are pics for you to choose some from

that's a tough one... they all look nice... but I think I'd personally go with the orange swirl, tort would be 2nd choice...

OS is discontinued, but Pickguard Heaven has something that appears to be essentially the same called Tiramisu.

I voted Tort because It's The Right Thing To Do, but OS would be the runner-up.

I'm with AD. Tort because you just should...
But, I do fancy the Abalone. Be warned though, I've heard that once you put the abalone pg on a Bongo, you will be very likely to replace your strings with Group III flats.

The abalone is on the bass right now - the bass came with the orange swirl fitted, and been like that for about 18 months with the tort and abalone as unused spares (whole lot came from Duarte this way, previously owned by Stingray96161). I'll bear in mind, Cellkirk, but I am a fan of abalone as well!

PS the pics don't do the pgs justice - the strange natural lighting conditions show how the body colour is under lights - I couldn't resist!!

I vote for the lighter colors to give more contrast: white pearl, white ice, mirror would look cool, in my book, just not plain white.

A very inconclusive poll then!!

I know some of you would tort a toaster (is that JLepre's quote? I was tempted to see what mine looked like!) - I'm afraid I'm not a big fan of tort (on EBMMs) but must admit it looks quite nice on the Bongo. It has abalone for now as I've got a little tired of the OS (nice as that is - and adds to the chick magnetism of the Bongo - seriously women love it).

I'm going to look into a white ice or clear PG as I'm stoked by how nice the colour looks under lights - as Holdsg, I think the lighter colours make it stand out. Anyway thanks guys. If anyone has a spare white ice or clear pl PM (sorry mods - I know the rules and I will raise a post in wanted at some point).

Anyone else pl feel free to chime in on the poll - I can't see any possibility of tort being topped.
