Pickguard Screws

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the difference in size of the pick guard screws between a Stingray and Sabre bass?

The Sabre screws have a larger head that matches the screw size used on the Sabre control plate.

Do you mean Pre Ernie Balls?
Had both 79 Ray and Sabre.
Never noticed a difference.

Probably same size difference of F pickguard and ashtray screws.

Yep on the Pre EB models, sorry I should have stated. I’m not up to speed on Fenders...
