Pickup change Cutless

So I love my EBMM Cutless....However, not a fan of the noise circuit or pickups. Has any one changed pots, volume and tone+ upgraded pickups? I am looking for recommendation. Thanks

Before you rip them out, try playing with the pickup heights. Mine were almost even with the pickguard,. Raising them up helped a lot on my SSS

Yeah, I would like to see that too!!! My Cutlass's are bright, as I understand it, lowering the pickups decrease the brightness so mine are pretty low like the factory spec but they lack output compared to the L3's I use live most.

Yes bright is my issue, yes tone knob and volume control are necessary..Amp adjustment I get it. Just curious about what others have for setup.

Lower the pickups. I have my mid and neck almost flush with guard
