looking to change the stock ones to something hotter, my tech said it can be a problem since the original bracket is the 1--2 hole style, what needs to be done to get another set of dimarzios in this guitar?

thankx

how are brackets going to fit since standard pickup has 1 hole on each side,

There is no problem putting any other pickups on there. They thought it out very well. Actually the pickup itself gets attached to the pickup ring from the bottom, and the 3 screws from the ring go into the body where you can adjust it however you like. Very solid and well thought out once again.

I replaced the bridge pup in my 20th Silo with a BREED. Robuster is correct, the pickup gets attached with its two ears to the bottom of the pickup ring, and then the pickup ring has three screws that go into the body of the guitar to adjust for height. So any Dimarzio should fit fine.
