I wasn't happy with the tone I was getting on my AL MM90 and was having trouble raising the pickups. Turns out there are no springs underneath to aid in the height adjustment. I remedied that, and now have complete control over the height. Raising them about 1/16" made it a new guitar. No more low output mellow tones. Why don't they put any springs underneath the MM90s?
