Hey people. I'm doing a set up a white Benji (the American one, not the OLP) that's been well-loved and seldom cleaned. ;)

I took a peek in the control cavity and the bridge pickup is a DiMarzio (of course) and reads "B97" on the baseplate. It's got one row of slugs and one row of filister heads in the bobbin and reads 8.11K on the multimeter.

I'm assuming this is an OEM pickup but does anyone know if it compares to a regular production model? Google brought up no results. I'm just curious to know what this compares to if I'm asked.

Almost 50 views and nothing! Ouch!

I wonder if anyone from EB customer service can help on this one?

Could email Dimarzio, I heard they can advise of those which are similar?

I thought about doing that too...

hang tight they are getting ready for NAMM. Bump this thread in a few days if you haven't had a response

AH very true i didn't think about that. I'll check back in a few days.

Got a message back from DiMarzio, apparently that pickup is "similar to" the DP223, which is their PAF Model.
