Are the pickups soldered to the preamp or do they use some type of plug? I have three MM basses but I've never removed anything. I don't want to take a chance messing them up. I'm just curious. I have no plans to do anything to them.

On my 25th's they are soldered and would imagine that would carry through the model line, I can't see plugs being used anywhere by MM. Curiosity can be dangerous, especially when holding a hot soldering iron!

I wanna say that in American way, so please correct me guys, ...it should goes like this:
-don't fix it, if nothing ain't broken! (or something like that)

We say here: -don't touch anything if everything works well! ;)

Yeah, this is an original I was looking for! ;)

Thanks!

And don't forget, when something isn't working properly, the only tools a man ever needs are duct tape and WD-40. If it doesn't move and should be moving, use WD-40. If it's moving and shouldn't be, use duct tape.
