Pickup raising on SR5

From set to set today my pickup somehow magically raised up between sets. Was fine for 1st set then I started the next set and the "G" pole piece was actually jammed up against the string while the low B pole piece was about 1/32" from the string. A quick turn of the screwdriver took care of it but has anyone else had this phenenom occur?

there was a thread about this a month or 2 ago but w/ a Bongo. i think someone suggested lock tite (or is it lock tight?) and everyone agreed - but im not sure. search for "lock tite" or "lock tight" ... but w/ the correct spelling (I have no clue how to spell that products name - i think its "tite" but could be wrong)

Arin's completely right, I don't entirely remember the name either, but it was something like locktight and then a number. In either case, apparantly it works really well. Good luck

Same thing happened to me quite often with another-brand-name bass I borrowed from someone. Mighty inconvenient! LocTite 222MS Threadlocker (prod. # 22231) should fix it. What's interesting is that my Bongo used to do something like that, but to a lesser extreme during the one or two months after I had received it. Though I din't do a thing, it don't do it no more! The Bongo's cool that way.

Don't "look sexy" at it and you won't get a rise out of it...

Make sure you use a "service removable" thread locker for small screws. Loctite Item # 22231 is what I use
