I want to change my 2004 JP-6 pups for Illuminators. And no, I have no idea what they are :)
I'm also having a complete rewire as well - it's a bit tatty in there now.
The UK DiMarzio retailer told me to measure from E to e - he was fairly certain that it would be F-spaced.
So above the bridge pup it's 51mm; over the neck pup it's 48mm!
I'm thinking I'll go for the F-space (51mm) size, but does anyone have any ideas before I commit to the purchase?

F-spaced really should be called trem-spaced, it's the usual size for bridge pickups on guitars with tremolos. Neck pickups are pretty much all 48mm (the string spacing narrows as you head towards the nut) which is standard spacing, *unless* the nut is quite wide. So, I;m pretty sure you want an F-spaced bridge pickup and a standard neck pickup but see the DiMazrio FAQ to be sure.

Just make sure you get F-spaced pickups.

Your current pickups are most likely Air Norton (neck), and Steve's Special (bridge). Same pickups JP was using during the Ibanez era. Later on, the CrunchLab/Liquifire set was introduced.
