Hey all,

I'm looking for some suggestions here. I've got a silo in hss with piezo I've had for about 10 years that I'm thinking about making some changes to.

About 7-8 years ago I put a duncan jb into the bridge I had lying around and paired it with two duncan antiquity Texas strat hots in the neck and mid. All in all, it sounds pretty good. The problem is that the "luthier" that did it wasn't the greatest. I'm sure the silent circuit is inactive and the piezo doesn't work. Additionally, I don't think the jb is f spaced. Does that make a difference? I never bothered to fix it because it wasn't my main guitar, but now it's time for a tune up.

And now for the questions. Do I put the original pups back in? I've forgotten what they sound like. I've gravitated toward humbuckers for about the last 10 years. I played LP's and PRS for a long time but now spend all my time on my silos. My standard silo has paf pros, and my 20th anniversary still has the stock dimarzios. Love the sound on both guitars.

I'm open to trying something new, but have no idea where to start. I'd like a bridge humbucker suitable for big rock tone that still cleans up well. For singles, I'm looking to get a little fatter. I'd even be open to SC sized HB for the neck. Lastly, I'm not sure if there's anything I need to be aware of with regard to the silent circuit and piezo.

The fantasy option is return it to stock and buy an hh silo with a floyd. I'm pretty sure the Mrs would murder me, given my purchase of 2 guitars in the last month. :D

If you took the time to read this far, thanks.
