Hey All!
I recently installed a Bartolini pickup in my Sterling. It looked straightforward--the Bartolini has the same color wires as the MusicMan pickup, so I just followed my nose with the wiring and mimic'ed what was already there. Everything is cool except that the Humbucker Parallel mode is very low output and the switch is now backwards (what was Humbucker Parallel is now Humbucker Series and vise versa).
Talking with a guitar tech, he said I likely had
the plarity switched.
So my question: On the MusicMan pickup, what is the color coding of the wires for the following:
North Start
North Finish
South Start
South Finish
