Hey there,

For the humbuckers I like dirty, but modern sounds and not to hot for nice cleansounds.
The singlecoil (I got HSH) should work with the humbuckers (power etc), but should sound just like a singlecoil typically does.

Please give me your ideas! :)

all the best,
Till

What are the stock pickups? I was thinking they were DiMarzio PAF Pros in the silo and a proprietary/custom DiMarzio HB in the silo specials...

For me the Silo Special HB was just ok, very safe and middle of the road. I chose to take it in a weightier direction with the Breed, which gives both metal and classic sounds to the guitar, with lots more tight bottom end. But I left the stock sc's in it, liking how they work together with the Breed.

the PAF Pros were too "flat" sounding to me. So I changed it to (all Dimarzio)
Andy Timmons in the bridge, Area 67 in the middle, Air Norton in the neck. And it has the worst tone Ive ever heard! :p

Dimarzio Tone Zone all the way dude!!! I went with one about 3 months ago and never looked back!!! I don't know about the stock bridge pick up on the other hand because the 1st owner switch it to a Dimarzio Evolution and that was way too thin for my liking.
