I'm posting an actual pic of me playing my beloved Autumn Redrise, because for some reason, this guitar has eluded being photographed for so long that it's become kind of a challenge to actually find a pic of it in use. I've wanted for the longest time to get a decent "live" pic of it, but this guitar has some sort of anti-camera curse. I've always given my camera to people and they take pics of any other guitar I might use, but forget to do this one somehow. Either that, or they're too busy snapping photos of each other. :p I've done a fair number of shows or clinics and somehow this guitar has always managed to evade, LOL. Until now! So I'm going to break its curse by posting this and hopefully this means that in the future I can actually get a GOOD live photo instead of something so dark. But it's a start and I'll take what I can get! :D This was from one 7-string tune I had to use it on at a recent show with Ron Thal. I look angry, but I'm happy to be playing such a cool axe. :)

Any other Autumn Redrise users out there?

Beaaautiful guitar Paul, saw it a couple of times on your site and I think it's one of the most beautiful finishes I've ever seen, especially on a JP. The other guitar looks really unique too, looks like someone hungry took some huge bites outta it :D

Hmmm.. Has anyone pointed out to Ron that someone has chewed the a$$ off of that guitar he's playing? :D

I love that guitar too. :D That's one of the 10 Vigier replicas of Ron's old Swiss cheese guitar. Here's a better pic of it and lo behold, another pic of the Redrise - the curse is broken. :D But I bet that is the only other picture in existence, LOL. I see some of the classic Ernie Ball sparkle action going on there.

Is that Lyric HG you're using Paul? I have them and they can be a little stiff and get tangled on stage but they are some of the best sounding cables I've ever used!

Is redrise a color that can be ordered from EBMM? If so how much extra does it cost?

I looked on the cable and couldn't find any brand name. I even unscrewed the jack and there was nothing there. So I can't really tell you since I got them a couple years ago. They seem to be quite good quality and I've got several of them, but they do get tangled and twisted way too easy and that's no fun. I've also heard that if you play outside and the cables get on the ground that they pick up every known form of grass, weeds, leaves etc. and there's no cleaning them up, LOL. That would make it look like you've got a vine plugged into your guitar. :)

Wow...
You must be one hell of a player to be up there with Ron...
One person and one person only has stood up on stage with Ron and made him drop his jaw, and that's Guthrie Govan. But then again, Guthrie makes the best of the best look like beginners....LOL
Here is mine.....

Hardly, hardly. :) If I needed certain guitar qualifications to take the stage with Ron it would never happen, lol. Ron is just a good friend and kind individual who has played several shows and clinics at our place and it's a complete honor to jam with him.

But it's completely true about Guthrie, heh heh. He and Ron are the next generation of mind boggling players, for sure. They've been friends for a long time actually.

Great guitar! :) Glad to see another one out there. I'm wondering how many of that color were actually made now.
