Pics of my Axis!

OK so I have been playing my new Axis for a couple of weeks now. My initial consern was that the neck would eventually turn out to be too small for me as I have fairly large hands equipped with the hot dog kind of fingers... This has not been the case at all! I just love more and more how this neck feels in my hand. It´s so smooth to play. The fretwork is awesome, so easy to bend and control the strings in any direction.
Also love the sound of it. Just a glass clear, pure, superclean humbucker sound both clean and distorted. Only problem is I can easily see myself wanting more in the future. A problem for the wallet, an even bigger problem for the domestic peace agreement, if you see what I mean...

Also +1 to what you said about the necks and being able to control the string in any direction. It really allows more expression with vibrato and bends without wearing your hand out.

I love the red color too. Had my mind set on translucent gold, just because it´s a classic I guess. But there was apparently just one Axis to get hold of from the importer in Scandinavia at the time and it was red. So I just jumped at it without even seeing it first. Impulse can be a good thing Next up is to install a D-tuna. Seems handy since I play a lot in drop D.

It works perfectly in my BCB Axis, and it gets a lot of use. Recommended for sure.
