any pics of Stingrays and Sterlings in white with white(or mop) plate and mhs with maple board.I really dig that combo and I think my next musicman bass will be white

incidentally, why isnt the Bongo offered in white? was it before and just didnt sell?

cheers

White didn't sound as good on the Bongo, so they darkened it a little (ButterCream) and now it sounds great!

Troublemaker!

It was a problem with matching the white on the body to the white on the neck and headstock. SLO didn't want mis-matched basses out there.

thanks for the pics guys, some great looking basses.

quick question, why would the bongos be mismatched? the mhs on rays and sterlings is white over maple.surely it'd be the same on a Bongo?

any pics of sr4s or sterlings with everything white including pup cover and headstock and a maple board? thats the look I'm after.

cheers

White is my favorite color option aside from the sparkles. oddly enough I was never crazy about white sparkle. Oh well...

On the Bongo the neck and headstock are matte, and I guess that's where the alledged mis-match came into play.

Personally, I think they discontinued white Bongos so I'd have one less color to drool over:D
