Hey Foggy,

Would you happen to have any pictures of solid color Axis' and Axis SS (non black, preferably). I see a lot of the BURST colors and was wondering what the SOLIDS look like.

Thanks:)

if i could do it all over id get my Axis in black with matching headstock. With a black speed knob that goes up to 11. But my Cherry Burst is amazing.

Here you go Sir!
Some of these colours are discontinued, but it gives you a good idea of what a solid coloured Axis is like.

How come some of them have the vintage saddles and others have the blocky saddles?? Not talking about the ones with the piezo. Is there any huge difference between these 2 types of saddles that EB make in the first place? Meaning that do they work equally as good with the trem??? I was thinking of swaping the vintage ones for the ones on MOST of the ASSsssss, for comfort on my picking hand while I rest it on the bridge.

The Sport had stamped(vintage) saddles. The Super Sports have solid saddles. Both work equally well on trems or hardtails.

Thanks Foggy.:)

It's very much appreciated.

Scott

P.S. Larry, I thought you put that Axis up for sale on EBAY. And you are right, a black Axis with matching headstock would look killer.

I know BP will have something to say about bringing back certain colors, but I wish they would bring back purple and green. If I remember correctly BP had said that green didn't sell, but if it was the same translucent green I've seen on some Peavey Wolfgangs, I'd put an order in on Monday.:D
