The "B" string of my Axis Super Sport occasionally cuts out when the piezo is selected. Sometimes there's a sound, sometimes not, sometimes it's 1/2-way there. Is this something my dealer can fix, or do I need to send it to EBMM?

I had the same issue with my Albert Lee - I sent it back to Jon to be sure it was taken care of properly, but he said I probably could have had a local tech check it out.

my axis has a similar prob. i sent it to ebmm once before, and they changed out the whole bridge....no charge. nice fellers. i'm having a similar prob again, so i'll be sending it back to them soon..........mine is intermittant....and not always the same string.......it comes and goes.........i suspect it has to do with the break angle over the saddle not being able to apply enough pressure on the piezo element(while it's cutting out, i can make it stop buzzing by applying a little finger pressure down or sideways on the string where it contacts the saddle.). we'll get it fixed, i'm sure........."i'm certainly not giving up my baby for a slight engineering prob." ebmm axis ss rules! ;)

I had a similar issue with my piezo luke on the b string. It wasn't as loud as the other strings. Local repair guy took care of it. It was the break angle.

I like to only bother jon every other guitar.

I imagine he raised the saddle - if the break angle is too low, there's not enough pressure on the piezo. Did you change your saddle height at all?
