Contact customer service as soon as you can.

My guess would be that if the part where the string comes into contact with the saddle is unaltered, then restringing should be fine, assuming you use magnetic pickups only. Just my opinion though, and only customer service knows for sure. I hope your problem gets resolved soon!

It happened to a JP 6 that I restored. I bought new piezo saddles to repair it.

I would suggest that if you are desperate to gig the guitar, get the bit that has pinged off and try to press it back into place ..... maybe even use a really tiny blob of glue *question mark/ damn foreign keyboard .. im in Madrid typing this on a @stag night@ .. just about to go out.. id rather you get advice from cs first though.
edit i just realised that you lost the cap / i used a small bit of hard solder i use for glass work as a stop gap .. maybe a tiny piece of aluminium.

second edit ... take a look at my thread on jp restoration as to buy the right saddle you will have to see whether or not the underside of the saddle is marked R or not.

Congratulations on the restoration, was excellent.

Hello people. I just bought a used JPX-7 Barolo. With the piezo, the third string seems to have no sound or it comes and goes(Only that string). If I play with the whammy bar, it seems to change. Any suggestions? It really bothers me.
