Hi everyone,

I did my homework and checked every thread about piezo, even sent an email to customer service to solve my problem :)
My guitar is Silo sunburst with piezo - used one but bought it twoo weeks ago , problem appeared last gig I played .
I noticed one string ( G ) sounded weaker and distorted ,sustain ended suddenly - at home I tried to move a top of the saddle a bit to make sound better – nothing changed .
Have any experience?
I called and talked to few friends of mine guitar freaks but they can’t solve my problem, unfortunatelly the country I live have really bad services about small electronic and details guitars stuff.
I’m a musician and have other guitars to play next gigs but that Silo sounded really great and I want it back a.s.a.p.

Greetingz from Poland,
Zibi

Customer service is your best bet- call them when you can.

Worst case, you can probably buy a single replacement piezo saddle (or maybe the set) and replace the bad one.

Thanks Tim , I'll try - no answer from MM service till now...

I found a man who fixed a piezo saddle in Parker guitar- old, experienced guy - He looked down on the bridge and neck position and told very interesting thing.
Because of I lowered the saddles the pressure of saddle's string G (which is the most problematic string in right tune and well sound- as everyone knows) is not enough to get the good quality sound.
The reason is very simple:
screw holes (bridge) place too high and neck too low - simple example - when I took of the strings, the saddles were over the bridge - it needs a heavy press to place the saddles on the bridge.Strings tension doesn't stable the saddles either..
So, two ways to make it better:1.lower the bridge, 2.higher the neck-which is easier

My Silo should back to life this week - I hope, without replace the saddle...
I didn't know the construction issues in MM guitars, I played a MM Luke in the past-couple of years, owned many guitars like PRS,Gibson etc. but that what I heard and recognized today really wondered me.
