PIEZO ?? What it does??

Hi, First of all, introduce myself... I´m Benkenove, and I´m looking to but a JP guitar... I´m thinking in a all options Sapphire Black or carbon blue.. I dont know well..

Well, the fact is that I dont understand the PIEZO option... I dont know what it is, and what for...

So If anyone can explain me, I will be gratefull !!

The piezo pickup allows you to play acoustic tones through the electric guitar. You can through either the magnetic pickups or the piezo pickup, or a combination of the two. There are two separate outputs for the magnetic and piezo pickups.
