Pimp My EBMM.

Im looking at refinishing my Dargie Delight Luke in something different. The green just isn't doing it for me. That would never happen . I'm looking to get my Silo Special refinished in some sort of cool sparkly color changing color. I remember Pete did something like that to a JP6. Do any of you know anyone that does re-finishing? And have any pictures of colors and/or finished products. I do not want to get some shotty spray paint in the garage with a coat hanger type thing.

I like the De Lacugo Sparkles are his prices for paint or for bodies (I don't want/need a new body.) Also flames are kind of cheesy for me anyways. I'm thinking pink sprakle. or possibly metallic blue sparkle both with pearloid pickguard. Also what about the headstock decal. I don't want to lose the EBMM decal on the headstock. If I have to lose that the guitar is staying Rolls Burgundy.

As I understand it, refinishing a poly coat can be a nightmare. You can probably sell it for close to what you paid. That's what I'd do. Then buy a color which works for you.

I've used GMW guitars in the past.
They refinished an old Nightswan in Dweezil green and it was amazing.

Sims look good, but they're based in the UK, so you'd be paying shipping both ways and I don't know what the customs guys would think about import duty. For anyone in the UK wanting a refinish I can also recommend mike at MP Designs http://www.art4artzsake.com who did a very nice leopardskin Epiphone for me (no pic here as it's not an EBMM) and is currently doing something very special to a Warmoth VW. He can offer a good choice of sparkles as well as graphics.
