What I love about the Pre-EB "Inca Silver" is that it has a tad of greenish gold to it. It's not a true silver "Silver".

Not so sure that the greenish/gold tint was always there; when clearcoat yellows over time, it gives a greenish hue to the silver beneath... I used to own a '70's Silverburst Les Paul custom that really a became 'greenburst' after being subjected to smoke-filled bars over the years. I recall the old Inca Silver 'Ray's were pretty much a pure silver...

I don't like that amount of greening of the finish. Especially at that price....

I've passed up a couple green ones already, and don't regret not buying any of them.
