found a youtube vid of Albert with what looks like a pink burst,could be his red one and the lighting making it look like a pink burst

I was and still am a huge Danny Gatton fan... he was such a great player... 88 Elmira street is one of my favourite albums... it would have been great to see him on an EBMM... alas it wasn't to be...

+1 on that, I'm a huge Gatton fan - but he was too much of a "dyed in the wool" f3nder man and he and his Dad experimented a lot on these guitars.

But I suppose Albert Lee was a F3nder man too in his early days until he saw the light!! ;)

PB AL's do occasionally turn up on this side of the pond.
I found mine languishing unloved on the wall above the till at a shop on Tottenham Court Road.
I am curious as to how many of the early PinkBurst AL's are in the U.K., I'm guessing they're fairly thin on the ground.
