As some of you know I've really been wanting a Tribute Axis, especially after seeing the great guitars that Ozzyrules and Tonelover purchased, but couldn't get one because of the exclusive deal with Guitar Center....well, I could have got one going the roundabout way but that was too much trouble.;) Anyway, I noticed that Jeff (Browndog) had his up for sale. So I jumped at the chance to try and grab it. Well, the deal is done. Man, these tributes are great. Now I'm really wanting a Purple Tribute.:D

I'm really hoping that if there is a third batch EBMM will offer them to other dealers, so the rest of us can feel the love. Maybe offer them in a different configuration (black backs instead of brown backs) or something along those lines so GC's 1st and 2nd batches will still be exclusives and different.

Anyway, loving mine. If anyone has been holding out......don't. You won't be disappointed.

Congrats, that one really is a looker. And with one of the top two figured necks that I've seen on that color so far. Jealous!

I can't believe that I had that guitar in my hands & let Jeff have it. It could be the best combination of quilt/birdseye that I've seen yet. You are lucky! It was a momentary lapse in judgement on my part. I should have backed out on the deal with the big guy from Canada & kept it for myself. Kidding Jeff..... Congrats Lumberjack. You got a keeper.

Thanks guys. When I first saw it, the combo of the great top and neck looked sick. I had a silly moment and got away from the Axis model. I love my Petrucci's but the EVH and the Axis is the reason I came to EBMM. I still love the body shape. I like the look of the Bursts but Purple has been my favorite color for the Axis. And pink is a close second. I just couldn't pass up this one. I'm on the lookout for a purple tribute. I don't know how it's gonna happen, but I'm going to keep looking. I've got a guitar ready to be sold, if I find something.

I'm glad to know its in good hands. ;)

And Slav is absolutely right.

It's definitely in good hands. Thanks for doing the deal, Jeff

Hell no!!!!! For whatever reason, if I had to sell some guitars, I could do it. But, the Dargie Petrucci and Ms. Piggy are staying for the long haul.

Very funny, man.:D An AX(is) is a lumberjacks tool of the trade. Nothing wrong with it being pink. As long as it gets the wood cut. Still lots of Canucklehead virility, here. LMAO.
