When the Axis was first introduced in 1996, pink was a color option and there were a few made. It is far more rare to see a pink Axis than a pink EVH. They made 200 or so pink EVH's. Probably less than 50 pink Axis guitars. I have only seen 3 pink Axis guitars and probably 30 pink EVH's. Very rare indeed!

well you still can get an Axix Ex in Pink (the one made in Japan). I am supposed to be there by the end of the month and I will try to grap one for me, if I have the time :(

some say that it's all american part assembled in Japan, some say that the neck is different

best thing is to try but any official answer from BP could help I think

you know, it is a really unique and cool color. i had to re-assure myself of my manlyness before i bought it, when i got it home though, it was really more of a magenta-ish tone.

it is too bad that they dis-continued it. it would be cool to see again!

How do people in the audience react to such a Pink Axe? That's beautiful, but does it take courage to play it live....??

LOL!! Courage - nah! My thoughts are: If you like it, play it - and let your playing do the talking for you.

Rock on brother.
